Matt Davies

 

This is an oil painting of Matt Davies, the singer of a band called Funeral for a Friend.  It is a top down view of him singing into the microphone. This painting took me 4 weeks to complete, as it is entirely in oil paint, and took longer to dry. It is a relatively large canvas, measuring 24x36" with a depth of 1 1/2". The dark green paint tends to catch the light more than the lighter green. 

 

This painting was completed in 2012, and is currently in my studio. It will be added to my Etsy store soon.
